A new game was started on the 14th Sept, a 28mm Medieval game of moderate (by club standards) size.
Burgundian Forces of Duke Milo the Mad have invaded Northern Italy. The Northern league have bought a formidable Condottieri force to oppose the Burgundians. The Armies have clashed along the banks of the river Leppo, with the larger Italian force aggressively assaulting the Burgundians across the shallow river.
The game is now in the balance, with both sides Chivalry caught up in a massive melee and the infantry closing to close quarters.
Ah well the gods of war were smiling on the Condottieri. After a series of poor morale tests precipitated by the collapse of the Burgundian centre the right wing also broke in route despite having the facing Italians at their mercy.
